Can you pop these apart to put things like .25 or 1P 2P to make the text visible and backlit?

I've been searching but can't seem to find the answer.

You could try it, but I'm pretty sure that any text or image under that light-diffusing, frosted material won't be as clear as you'd like.

You may want to consider SlammedNiss' adhesive vinyl button decals instead.
