Walmart - Clearing out all cabinets at $50

This is going on now, with many places reporting them:

Huge clearance going on at Walmart.

Almost all cabinets are $50 including Star Wars:

Relax, all right? My old man is a television repairman, he's got this ultimate set of tools! I can fix it.

Here in the USA, those titles have been out for quite some time,
and also there is only so much shelf space.

Walmart managers have the option of reducing prices, so not all stores do that.
In fact, in most large towns, they've never reduced the prices, and still sell them
at full price.

Only the places that are getting newer cabinets, might choose to get rid of the extra
stock. So, if they had 10 Star Wars machines, they might mark it down to $50. Or if
they have really old Space Invaders and Asteroids machines, they will mark it down to $1
to get rid of them in inventory. If someone there sees it at that price, they can buy them
at those prices also.

The number of people that actually get them at these prices is probably very low, maybe a few
hundred. Considering they've sold a million cabinets for regular prices, I wouldn't worry too much
about it, some people get lucky. Those that wait, usually get the best deals.
