big buck hunter cpu

hey there. I have a 2006 big buck hunter pro and the cpu has crapped out. I'm wondering if anyone had any suggestions on a replacment.i have the 1.25 version backup disk as well as the dongle, but I've heard I still need a cpu that runs windows 7. Thanks!
