  • I want to build my own arcade controls!
I have setup the latest GroovyArcade using the generic Arcade 15Khz monitor setting. All works well, I see the splash screen and the list of games loads and displays correctly.

If I try and launch a game, have tried Robby Roto and World Rally so far, the screen goes black and I can hear my monitor (Polo2) whining like it does when it is recieveing a resolution it doesn't like.

Where am I going wrong? Do I need to setup the emulators themselves to be 15khz?

Not much relevant information such as the video card brand etc.

Try setting -dotclock_min 25.0 in mame.ini.
Important note: posts reporting GM issues without a log will be IGNORED.
Steps to create a log:
 - From command line, run: groovymame.exe -v romname >romname.txt
 - Attach resulting romname.txt file to your post, instead of pasting it.

Thanks for the suggestion, changing that in mame.ini resolves the issue and the games work correctly.

But, I am having to adjust the horizontal frequency pot on my monitors (Polo25) remote board when the game loads. Once I adjust it everything is fine, but if I quit out to the mennu then I need to adjust it again.

Anyone any suggestions on how to resolve this new issue?
