This game was in the original BYOAC HS Comp back in 2013 as game #125. Let's bring it back and see if we can top the 1,008,930 high score posted by Comtek.

Game info
Shoot snow at monsters to turn them into snowballs. Press the fire button next to a snowball to kick it around the screen. Any monsters hit by a snowball are killed. If another snowball is hit, it too bounces around the screen. Collect potions for power ups.

List of Potions:
Yellow Long shot
Red Speed up
Blue "Big" snow encases monsters quicker
Green Inflates you like a balloon and lets you fly around the screen killing any monsters you touch. May only appear at certain times.

During every 10th level, there is an end-of-level monster to be killed.

Killing all the monsters on a level with a single snowball causes money bonuses, worth 10,000 points, to fall down, but sometimes a glowing cake bonus will appear instead. When the cake is collected, the game stops and four blue snowball creatures appear for a short time. If these enemies are killed, they each provide a letter: "S","N","O" or "W". Collect all four of these letters for an extra life. The glowing cake can also appear at other times during the game.

Nice! I am still sub 500k and figuring out some iterations... a lot seems to hang on those potions dropping early. Specifically the red ones...

Definitely have a new appreciation for this game. It was in an arcade in my area here, but I had no idea about those bonuses. Make it rain everyone!

1,170,190. That random power up system is a PITA. If you don't get the speed power up early on and the blue power soon thereafter, you can kiss your high score goodbye and might as well restart the game.

Nice work yamatetsu! I have spent some serious time playing the first three levels trying to get a red flask. Little to no luck. On top of that I seem to generate the S-N-O-W level a lot which ruins my HS attempt too. Congrats on the new forum high score!!! I'll see if I can best it over the next few days but that seems like it'll stick. Kudos

Yep, it has taken a LOT of games to get this. Also, even if you get the speed boost early on, you have to do a near flawless game and hope not to get the extra lives power up. I had several 900k+ games but fell short because of the points I missed in the early levels.

This will be my final score, my PC died over night, seems the PSU is shot. It takes till tuesday/wednesday until the new one arrives. This will be a looong wait

I was playing barefoot, slipped, and kicked off a toe nail on the front edge of my pedestal. That sucked.

Yep, you get an extra life. However, in the second bonus round you have to hit the right guy(s) for the missing letter(s), otherwise you'll get letters you already have and end up getting nothing.
So no, I haven't completed SNOW because I immediately restart the game if I get the bonus round early on.
