  • I want to build my own arcade controls!
so I picked up an insane deal ($50) on a kind of empty sega "NASCAR arcade" cabinet that I want to turn into a pc based racing cabinet but I'm new to the whole racing cabinet thing. I would like to use the same old ac motor but I'm not sure how to do that. it appears I'm missing some things on my wheel like the pot is missing which means its also missing the gear on top of the potentiometer plus my wheel doesn't go back to center so I'm thinking I'm missing the auto-centering stuff but mainly I would like to know how to use the original force feedback. I've seen other people mention these "L2M2 boards but I can't find much on them or where to get such a thing. it does appear to have all the power supply boards and the "jvs?" board so maybe someone knows a way I could make something to use that original stuff?
anything helps I'm pretty new to racing cabinets since I've only ever worked with button and joystick cabinets. also, I need a monitor for in it, I have a WG D9400 that I plan to try and make fit but any better monitor suggestions would be appreciated.

I don't have a clue what kind of hardware that game uses, sorry.  What I can tell you is if the game had force feedback then that's the centering mechanism… the motor.
