Ultracore (formerly Hardcore) thr lost Genesis game
« on: March 05, 2020, 10:22:36 pm »
I was reading a Retro Gamer article on Ultracore, formerly known as Hardcore.  It was developed for the Genesis but the game was never released and presumed to be lost.  The code was found and released on the Genesis and modern consoles last year.

I figured I would check it out.  I just finished the game.  It was fun and hard.  It is Contra with hard and unforgiving Megaman style platforming.  If you like gunstar heros or contra, this game is worth a look.  It was made for replay value on Genesis so it is not easy. Soundtrack is excellent.
