Sorry if this question is stupid...
Is possible install a 1080i resolution on a 25khz crt arcade monitor?

1080 (lines) x 25 (fps = 50i)  = 27kHz.

So no, even if you could squeeze the vertical blanking interval down to nothing, and you were willing to live with 50i, you'd still be over any 24kHz range limit.
