Video card for video pinball

I am scrounging up spare parts to build a mini pin table and a buddy has a EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti, see link for specs..

Will this be enough card or will I want to keep hunting?

I think you will be ok if you stick with a 1080P monitor.

Probably depends on what you will run.  I had a pretty decent PC and had issues with the PinUp system because it had several video streams at once and the intro videos were really laggy.  I upgraded to a new Ryzen setup and it fixed all the problems but everyone said my older hardware should have been plenty.

I started with a 760 but had to upgrade due to screen stutter on some tables. There are some pretty demanding tables out there for VPX. Attack from Mars is one of them. (Amazing table by the way) I am now running a 1060 and have no issues at all. That is at 1080p. 46" playfield with 32" backglass. good luck

I was only looking at intel/nvidia bc I see a lot of posts "blaming" AMD/Radeon for their problems. I assume driver issues, but who knows. What are you running?


I have found an old gaming rig for sale locally, will it work? what do you think its worth?

I am possibly buying a used EVGA GTX 1050 Ti SC (4gb) 04G-P4-6253-KR in the next day or two. From what I have been reading it should be more then enough for 1080. My main goals are VP9/X, maybe FuturePin, PinFX2/3 playing well. I don't want to dump a bunch of money into something the fam might lose interest in.

There is a lot of info out there, a lot is outdated so I try to check dates on what I read but info overload for sure.
