Sorry to bother you negative1
I read the whole thread so I was aware of what you saw fit to repeat.
If the CEO loved Karate Champ that much then why is it a Burgertime machine that plays Karate Champ instead of the other way around?
The afterthought is the marquee game? Doesn't make sense to me at least.
If the CEOs desire really IS the reason (excuse?) this machine exists, it would appear that if anyone doesn't know/care about arcade games it would be the people at Arcade1Up who asked for/allowed that machine to be produced as it was- CEOs opinion be damned.
I could repeat all the aforementioned shortcomings in support of that perspective, but an apparently prevailing sentiment need not be perseverated on in my opinion.
And I would apologize for not knowing enough about arcade games to have a valid opinion, but-
I did play Burgertime a LOT in middle school- and Karate Champ happens to be the only "fighter" I have ever played- when I was in high school and it was new.
And with assistance from a number of helpful people here I have designed and built a few machines myself also.
So I might know a little something about them.
