Ultimarc joystick question/opinions
« on: November 11, 2019, 12:24:10 pm »
I am working on converting a Golden Tee cabinet to MAME. I have it working now, at least enough to play games.
Now that I am playing, I’ve noticed that my Ultimarc Mag Stik plus has gotten very loose. This after only about a week of “light” gaming.

I built a 2 player cabinet and player two has not been used much at all comparing the 2 joysticks is dramatically different. Player one is very loose. Also, player one has frequent false “up” pushes. Let’s say I’m playing Street Fighter, if I’m just standing, not touching the joystick, my fighter just hops up and down.   Lastly, it has also become more difficult to switch from 4/8 way I lift the stick, guide the tabs into the notches, but when I rotate the stick, it jus spins.

Anybody else own the joysticks and have similar issues?

Its easy to take these joysticks apart. Take one out and inspect it.
