acb labs gs (power supply required?)
« on: September 06, 2019, 09:57:03 am »
I got a pair (set?) of acb labs gs guns for cheap.

I thought they were usb or ps/2 but, turns out they are game port (DB15).

AND they need a power supply.  Does anyone know what power supply these need?

I did some searching and it looks like these may have been a mistake to buy, but I didn't really know what I was buy or search them out ahead of time, because, for some reason I thought they were USB.

Also, it looks like you can use both guns and the control thingy at the same time?  (Or even have them plugged in at the same time.)  :/  In reading, I understand why.  (They act as joysticks.)

Well, any information on the power supply?

Thanks!

I have a USB act labs gun and it doesn't need an external PSU. I'd throw those old game port models in the trash if you want to use them with a semi recent version of Windows.
