WTB - 27" or 29" CRT
« on: April 30, 2019, 12:41:51 pm »
I'm biting the bullet and admitting I just will never be satisfied with my cab without a real CRT in there. Ebay is bone dry.

I'm in Western MA. Thanks!

Craigslist is a good place to look. People are always looking to "upgrade" their Golden Tee or other big screen CRT machines with a crappy LCD. Their loss can be your gain.

I have a brand new in the box 27" betson imperial digital multi sync.  I've had it out to test with the arcade vga card, but that's it. Ann Arbor Michigan area.  Shipping might cost a bit....

Arcade crt or crt tv? I work in Springfield and recently gave away a 27”. Can find them all the time on Facebook. I just got another 27” but really cool and rare one last weekend.

I'm on the hunt for a 29" monitor for a sega naomi universal. Is this a case of the US 27" vs JAP 29" measurement? I'm in the Detroit area so this is appealing if so!

Happ has CRTs new on sale:

It’s quite expensive, but if you have no local option...

When I bought the monitor I had planned an enormous cabinet with rotating control panel and all the trimmings. That project got derailed by the birth of my daughter, so other than an hour or two of testing, the monitor is NIB.

Now I've managed to get my daughter interested in retro gaming, and I'm starting up the project again.  We just redecorated and now I'm going to have to build a much smaller cab than I originally planned, and that's going to mean an lcd, as much as I don't want to, so the monitor will go up for sale.

This is the exact model:
IMP  44-4070-RT :: 27"DIGITAL MULTI SYNC RAW

It goes up to 800x600 while supporting all the 15khz resolutions.

I'm asking $450 + actual shipping costs, whatever they turn out to be.  Local pickup would be amazing

Thanks,
Dan

PS I have an original arcadeVGA board that works perfectly with this. It's the old style slot (AGP?), so needs an older computer.  I'll throw it in with the monitor if it helps.  I have the old computer lying around too.

Wow. What rock did they hide those under? Reasonably priced, for high-end retail.
