I wanna learn how to make Tamales.
I do a lot of cooking at home (byproduct of working in a real kitchen throughout college), and learning more ethnic foods is something I always strive to do. I’ve got a few traditional recipes under my belt for Thai, Loas, Indian, and Trinidadian. I make a handful of decent Italian dishes, and of course a bunch of Chinese learned from my mom. But the only Mexican I do is street style tacos, and fresh guacamole and pico de gallo (which is mostly just prep work).
Mexican dishes like Molé, Menudo, and Tamales would be awesome to know how to make. I love traditional Mexican foods - sometimes Tex Mex but that doesn’t count as real Mexican.
