I promise you that there will be more than enough rum. At least in the hotel. A friend bought me a *case* of Captain Morgan knockoff "Admiral Nelson" white rum & I'll be bringing plenty of it for anyone interested.

I was trying to surprise everyone by showing up but despite buying insurance for the cancelled flight for the last zapcon; airline wants me to jump through too many hoops to get another ticket. Not willing to fly standby both ways and I don't get my money back. Yet Airlines cant figure out why people hate them?

OK everyone, we’re almost there. I’ve got Starfighters arcade reserved Thursday evening fro 6-8. Admission is free. I’ve also got my son on grill duty, we’re going to bring hamburgers, chips and cookies to the arcade. We’re trying to estimate the number of hamburgers we need to bring. If you are planning to join us let me know (reply here or PM me).
I wanted to get together at the Delta hotel’s lobby around 5-5:30 to carpool to Starfighters. Anybody that’s in-town can meet us at Starfighters.
This is a private event but everyone is welcome, so bring your family and friends.
Then it’s back to the hotel for an all night happy hour and arcade social.

I'm on a direct 6.5 hour flight as we speak. Arriving tonight at around 9:30p PT.  Gibby a good friend of mine, is arriving at 10p PT.

Looking for a ride back to the hotel.  But if not. We can Uber it.

Also, we are looking for solutions for Jawhn because his car is crappy and he can't come pick us up on Thursday to help him move games.  Let me know if anyone is interested in transporting "arcade game moving muscle" so Jawhn can benefit.  Also, it might be a cool way to earn that "filmed by Del" badge.

If the boy and I have anything warmer than 87°F and breezy we start to sweat.
