Oscar Vortex Spinner...

Will the Oscar Vortex Spinner fit ok in a 3/4 inch MDF panel?

And I notice on their site they have a 7 day back order, does anyone know if this is everything or just certain items.  Or are they on Vacation?

Dunno about the backorder thing, but yes, it'll fit in a 3/4" panel just fine.

You should just email Oscar and ask him directly. I just bought a steering wheel and one of his optical cards (which made hacking the steering wheel to a mouse super easy) from him a few days ago. He's a great guy and very good about answering your questions before you buy anything.

No problem.    The Vortex comes with a connector that should hook right up to the OptiPAC.  I'm not using an OptiPAC personally though; I'm using OSCAR's USB mouse interface.

I got swamped with orders this week and that caused a backlog.  The weather must be nice somewhere (it's not in Detroit, though!) cause people are planning lots of projects!  

However, I am catching up faster than I anticipated.  By Monday I should be back to my normal 1-2 day order processing time.


All the spinners come with a connector that allows you to attach wires from the Opti-PAC to the optic board.   If you have any questions, please email me.  Thanks!

I just ordered from you, spinner, Tempest knob and a 4 way restrictor to finish panel number 1 and sorta get started on panel 2.
