Deptcharge videogame
« on: February 06, 2004, 02:34:16 pm »
Anyone familiar with Deptcharge the video game?
I can buy one for a nice price (around 80 dollars) but I do not know the game and since it is from 1977, there probably are not many spare parts around anymore.
Does anyone own Deptcharge here?

I already looked there, but what they do not state is if the game is any fun and whether it is worth to buy (to keep it for future generations)...

It's in MAME.  Give it a whirl.

I have very fond memories of that game...

It's not incredibly fun to me anymore , but if it is clean and it works, I think it would look great in a gameroom.

Same here, I remember bouncing back and forth between Sea Wolf and Depthcharge.  I'd happily add a working one to my collection.

Depthcharge is actually supposed to be a pretty good game in the dedicated cabinet. I know someone who owns one, and he has kept it while selling off a Donkey Kong.

For $80 working you can't go wrong. If you don't like it you could always probably ebay it for $200.
