2005 GT COMPLETE / BOARD, MONITOR, HARDRIVE, ISSUE

received a free GT 05' Complete / seems to power on normally but the screen is basically white and gets stuck on the insert coin screen.
Guy that gave to me said it just needs a need power supply... doe that seem accurate???

not very techy, so what are some basic things that I can check for... or do or buy that may resolve this issue.

I have pics of the power supply, board, eprom, and screen if someone could advise on how to post them.
