I'm finding the wheel config tweaks a bit daunting, is there a way to make the wheel feel generally heavier? Also, I'd like to decrease the constant rumble over wet or icy roads.
If you don't see an option there, then no, sadly.

After a bit of digging, I found that using a high number (8000 ish) for tweaks 5 and 6 adds a fair bit of spring strength and IMO makes the wheel feel a lot better. I think reducing the effects of wet/icy roads is maybe not possible without reducing all the other effects.

Does LAN multiplayer work for anyone else if you're using Radmin or Hamachi? I just tried it and we couldn't find each other's in-game lobbies. We were able to join the same Radmin server, but that's as far as we got.

Hello Howard_Casto,
I think you know the recent Outrun tweaks...
Unfortunately it doesn't support FFB. Could you do it?

Not specifically, no. I can tell you that this game has a few control issues, and the FXT wrapper fixes... some of them. if you can, only plug in you G29, no other controllers. I would then try different combinations of rebinding controls in-game and in the wrapper, calibrating the wheel both in-game and in windows, and enabling or disabling the FXT control override - i never wanted to use it as it won't let you gear-drift.

While this mod is awesome, i prefer OR2 SP SDX in Teknoparrot, myself.

Looks like the http://dragonking.arcadecontrols.com/simplephp/ccount/click.php?id=80 link is not redirecting to the correct URL.
- Same thing happens with a number of similar links on the site.

You can usually find the correct URL by plugging the link into archive.org to find an older version of the site where the redirect was working correctly.

That link redirects to this download link on archive.org . . .
https://web.archive.org/web/20210603121106/http://dragonking.arcadecontrols.com/files/OR2FXT2.5.rar

. . . that ends with this direct download from DragonKing link . . .
http://dragonking.arcadecontrols.com/files/OR2FXT2.5.rar

. . . that also works as an https link.

The download counter I have set up occasionally destroys itself causing the links to break.   The site really needs to be overhauled but I never have the time.   I think I'm just going to add files here on the forums in the future.

That does seem convoluted :)

Well, the mod does have options like the stage editor (changes order of stages around) but i'm running side-by-side sit-down setups, and booting right into LAN is much better for me, even if it''s missing some of the content. I'm also on CRT's, so i don't need any texture upgrades. And despite all the graphical fixes, i still say the arcade versions look better.

True.  Just laying out a trail of breadcrumbs that can help people find the files they want/need.

BTW, the same approach works with some sites that are up but not working right, such as Mr. Do's Artwork hosted over at MAMEWorld.
https://www.mameworld.info/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=400564&page=0&view=expanded&sb=5&o=&vc=1

Anyway, the site is old and unmaintained, and doesn’t work with new versions of PHP. An overdue server update broke the crusty old code. There’s no-one left to fix it.
- The old version of PHP that they're using no longer displays the list of art .zip file links, but you can get download links from the archived page here.
- Even if archive.org hasn't archived the file, you can copy/paste the "https://mrdo.mameworld.info/artwork/...zip" part of the link URL into your browser to snag the desired file from the MAMEWorld servers.   ;D
