Goal: Windows 10 pushing mame and other emulators, such as mednafen, to my attached Kortek KT-2914 multisync arcade monitor at their proper resolutions with no screen tearing and with a good current video card.

Current Situation: Ultimarc ArcadeVGA 5000 video card runs mame and most 16 bit system emulators fine, but it struggles with PS1 and some more demanding mame games. It switches to the proper resolution in mame (or close to?), but i always get screen tearing. I've dealt with the tearing for many years because in some games you don't notice it, and the performance has been ok for the most part.

Will CRTEmuDriver along with a supported video card alleviate the tearing and performance issues on my specific set up? The drivers at http://geedorah.com/eiusdemmodi/forum/viewtopic.php?id=65 are pretty old, and I'd like to avoid having to go back to windows 7 (but will if it's the only way)
