Would have been better off dumping the $100 and getting a Famicom Mini, bro.
Now just waiting on the $25 Nes classic knock off from China to get here and can start gutting it for a rpi build.

I was considering building something similar, but basing it around one of the Famicom clones. Some of them are cheap enough to be worth buying just for the case and controllers alone.A Famicon mini would also be very tempting if I could pick one up for $99. Am I right in assuming that these units use NES compatible hardware? If that's the case then presumably I could use the bundled 500-1 card in a real NES.
