Help with RI 5 jukebox
« on: April 15, 2017, 05:49:55 pm »
Good evening all and thank you for adding me new to this site I'm after a bit of help with the jukebox
I had a jukebox with your friends asked me to look at the sound was going up and down on one channel fading in and out by itself on inspection of the amplifier pcb noticed there was a lot of bad  capacitors  replaced all the capacitors and the sound went okay only to find that one of the channels is not working before looking at the jukebox somebody had been into it and cut the wires going to the  Channel that is not working also I downloaded the Symmetrix wiring diagram and service manual for this jukebox but the circuit diagram for the amplifier is not the one fitted in the  jukebox  The one fitted is a1 054 002b mother 5 1982  also can someone help me out with the wiring of the volume control for this unit as the wiring was like you had been butchered  by somebody in the past   Thank you for any help in advance

Hi stev214,

Welcome to the forum.

The Rowe Ami amplifier fitted as standard to the RI-5 would have been the 6-09189-02 50 watt amplifier.
