Zero delay encoder joystick question ...
« on: December 13, 2016, 04:01:09 pm »
I am currently building a control panel with 4x 8ways joystick + 1x 4ways joystick... Anybody know if I can use 5 zero delay controllers? Even more, can I use 4 zero delay controllers and use other pins of the controller to plug a 5th joystick?

Thanks

AS long as you can set up the config files and get windows to keep the USB device nimbering from changing ( it will change sometimes if devices are plugged/unplugged ) - then will work fine - but might be cheaper and less hassle in the long run to get something designed for 4 player setups because windows is fickle at times with the numbering !

Also the fifth Joystick could probably be set up to use the same inputs as player 1 Joystick (same for any buttons added for the 4 way) since you will not be using both at the same time !
