Rowe R-91 song selection order

I have just acquired a Rowe R-91.

It has a quirk in the order it plays songs.

When I turn it on, let's say I select song 145. If I select song 150 next, the carousel moves directly to 150 but it skips it and plays either song 151 or 152.

In other words, if I select songs in ascending order(170, 172,180, etc.), it skips always at least one or two songs ahead.

If I select my songs in descending order, 140, 133, 124, 110 for instance it will always play the correctly selected songs. However, after it plays song 140, the carousel spins all the way around again going past 00 before it plays 133. While selecting a playlist in descending order always work, it does not seem right the carousel spins all the way around again past 00 to the next song.
