I-pac ultra and 12v led strips- can I pull it off?
« on: October 21, 2016, 12:05:42 am »
Ok, I got a I-pac Ultra and have a cab with a lot of led effects on the sides, around the bezel, and of course the control panel. These are all 5v and I know I can just wire them up to the I-pac. But, I want the halo effect around the bottom using green led strips. I was going to break them up into strips of three or four so I can make them blink at different times using (led blinky). Unfortunatly, all the led strips I can find are 12V. Any Ideas? Is there any way to make this happen?
They treated me like an animal and that's what I became.

Well you could probably run the 12v ones on a 5v supply but they will be dim.
