Monitor WITHOUT VESA screw holes vs. a VESA compliant TV?

At this point I am wracking my brain   :dizzy: trying to figure out how to install a NON-VESA computer monitor (I don't know
any monitor yet) but I am thinking that it is probably more common amongst the cabinet builds on this forum that guys
use VESA compliant TVs.

I am thinking I can just used the VESA screw holes and build a wooden support framework and use BOLTS to screw into
a cabinet wooden support backing.

Thoughts?

this. find whatever screw holes you have on the back and use a sheet of 1/4" MDF  to make an adapter plate of sorts.

drill the holes for your monitor and the VESA mount you have... and apply with some slightly countersunk screws to your mount. then screw on the monitor. it's not holding up 200 lbs so it should be just fine.
