  • I want to build my own arcade controls!
Hey all, in the design phase for a mini tabletop cocktail machine and trying to figure out if any MAME emulator on RetroPie supports the ability to mirror game play for horizontal games like in this picture of a windows MAME cocktail machine:

Pic from this Youtube video:

I know the vertical games that support it have a cocktail mode set in the MAME menu, but specifically looking for the capability to mirror horizontal games so both players can play them at the same time. Thanks for any help.

Nevermind, fixed my own issue, at least on a few horizontal games I checked. In LR-MAME2010, in the TAB menu for a rom (I checked Metal Slug) there is a video options section which has a mode called cocktail and it mirrors and flips the horizontal game so both players on a cocktail machine can play! Now my only issue is that my machine and roms are designed around using LR-MAME2003 and a bunch dont work with 2010, so i'm guessing I will need to go looking for a .107 romset somewhere.

Thanks for the help,

LR-MAME2010 uses a 0.139 ROMset.   ;D
