Help with AMI R84 Boards
« on: September 25, 2016, 04:50:46 am »
Hi,

I have an AMI R84 mechanism that is playing up with all sorts of odd symptoms from slowing down while playing and sometimes speeding up again to not at all, refusing to play entirely and random and very noisey shuffling of the basket!  The symptoms seem to be linked to the LED display as it will dim or die when this happens.

It has been playing up off and on for a year of more.  I did get some advice from Alan (AMI-Man) which I followed and it worked again but its playing up once more.  Ideally I'd like to send the boards to Alan for test and repair but I can't make contact with him.

Any ideas please.

Regards

John
