Raspberry Pi - Launch Mame ROM on Boot
« on: September 05, 2016, 10:50:25 pm »
I have setup my Raspberry Pi to boot into a single MAME Rom on Boot.

Here is how I did it.

Pre-built image by Floob with RetroPie and Attract-Mode

http://smartretro.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=8277

When I modified the image from Floob...

1. Created a custom Attract Mode theme that displays full screen videos in the menu.

2. Set the default RetroPi Splash screen to a black image file.

3. Added  the Galaga Theme song as my attract mode startup video.

4. Setup the attract mode configuration to auto load the last game played.

Thanks for this. I was having a hard time getting a single game to work on boot.
If I had only one wish, it would be for three more wishes.
