Back on topic... eye surgeries really aren't a big deal these days... you'll be fine. I've had lasik and recovery was a piece of cake. My aunt has had retina surgery and healed up with no issues, and she is 78. |

I had lasik back in 1999 which worked well until I hit my late forties when I started needing the bifocals. I was awake for the procedure. It wasn't too too scary as they doped me up on Valium beforehand. I had to look up what a vitrectomy was but it doesn't seem too major. Good luck with your procedure. |
