New Project. Flight & Gun Cabinet
« on: July 09, 2016, 07:34:42 pm »
Hi guys. New to the forum but have been reading it for a couple of weeks. So far my idea is to build a custom MAME cabinet with a 2 player layout that will also do shooters and flight games. I want 2 wireless guns and a flight stick and separate throttle. I have a 43" Vizio and a pretty stout gaming rig I built before I decided I didn't like PC gaming. Sorry if that offends anyone but I grew up on arcades and consoles. There doesn't appear to be a specific forum for my idea but I'd seen where others had light and Laser gun issues.
For starters, love , love, love the MvC Revolution cabinet and setup. Sorry I can't remember the artist' name but kudos, that's awesome.  I figure I'll have to mount my screen straight up for shooters but it will make for funky PinMAME unless I could put it on a rail system , but that might be a stretch. My concern is a cluttered control panel and a vertical monitor playing other games. Any ideas?
