Mala with multiple mame lists
« on: May 01, 2016, 01:23:03 pm »
I'm nuilding a cab which has joystics, aimtrak guns and 270 pot wheel. Now all my mame games are on one list.

I made3 lists with romlister, mame joystick, mame drive and mame lightgun. Question is, can I in any way use these list with Mala? As three different mame lists?

Or do I have to make them work via Other emus? If so is there a tool for ripping roms from mame rom pack. Tool that could take romlister xml and rip those roms to a different folder for mala "other emu"?

Got it working.

Mala has rom lists page on the configuration which I had not noticed before. Added my 3 different mame rom lists there, then added texfield with -l name parameter to the layout to know which list is selected (also selected hide all games list).

Then tinkering ( :banghead:) with multimame and really reading though multimames site, I got it working. Racermame for the mame driving list games, groovy for everything else.
