Star Wars Trilogy Joystick Options for Supermodel 3

I am trying to find a good joystick/flight stick option for playing Star Wars Trilogy on the model 3 emulator and perhaps Mame.

I am interested in the Ultrastick 360 USB balltop but I would like opinions on the best option specifically for that game. In truth, an actual flight stick may feel more like the original which would be good.

The most important thing for me is the accuracy of the cursor. I've had luck playing it with a mouse, trackball, and light guns.
