Did the light gun take any code modifications to work with the roms? I want to set it up to work on my LCD and Retropie setup.

no mods needs all roms will work regardless of emulator.

Awesome. Thanks for the reply. I assumed it needed modification because I thought the original light gun worked differently than the Aimtrak light gun. Didn't the original work based on light at 15khz screens and detecting light whereas this Aimtrak gun works based off a sensor above the screen?

the new light gun work off a sensor bar like the wii remotes.
