Plywood health and safety

My dad mentioned to me the other day about some plywoods being poisonous. Is this still the case these days and if so how poisonous is it and which types of plywood should I be extra careful with?

No clue what he's talking about.  I mean, plywood is glued together so I wouldn't exactly go around gnawing on the stuff, but poisonous?  I don't think so.

   He was talking about green treated....That was arsenic I believe.

Thanks guys. Interesting read. The CCA is now not used which I suppose is good by the fact that they allowed existing wood to stay is worth knowing especially when burning it but the again the risks are quite low. Think my Dad was being overly cautious. Come to think about it though I do remember seeing green'y' looking ply wood in his workshop when I was growing up :)
