Possible pickup: Moon Patrol Cocktail?
« on: February 08, 2016, 05:43:12 pm »
Hi there guys. This just turned up. So what is this? A japanese bootleg of some kind in a generic cocktail cab? Is it worth picking up?
Unfortunately I don't better pics than these for now.

Moon Patrol was originally a Japanese game that Williams later licensed for distribution in the States. So that's probably an original. If you MAME that, I'll gut you.

Yep Moon Patrol was an IREM game and that looks pretty typical of a generic IREM cabinet. Could be collectible? Hard to say.

Thanks! I've sent the guy an email. And I'll probably call him tomorrow (it's kinda late over here). It's very close to here (15 minutes drive) so I'll check it out.

And btw: The day I MAME an original is the same day that pigs learn to to fly.
