groovymame win 7 with frontend
« on: January 24, 2016, 01:12:59 pm »
Hi

I am trying to setup groovy mame with gameex frontend. Gameex fails to generate gamelist, and I think it is connected with need to enabling administrator privileges in mame64.exe. So even though it is enabled, my gamelist still fails to create. Is there any option to skip administrator privileges approval and make it automatic somehow?

Admin privileges are not required to run, they're just required to edit video modes for legacy cards. What happens if you use official MAME to generate the game list?

Steps to create a log:
 - From command line, run: groovymame.exe -v romname >romname.txt
 - Attach resulting romname.txt file to your post, instead of pasting it.
