Pcsx2 full screen
« on: January 22, 2016, 11:06:35 am »
Anybody have any success running pcsx2 on their crt? The problem I have is that it doesn't seem to switch resolutions only run at the desktop resolution. I have set the internal resolution to native but when I go to full screen it runs at 800x600. Every other emulator besides pcsx2 and 4do can change full screen resolutions. Any ideas?

This is because PCSX2 uses desktop resolutions. It does not switch resolutions like other emulators.

I use ArcadeOSD to switch desktop resolution to 640x480@60hz and then I start PCSX2. To get fullscreen I double click on the PCSX2 window. This is for NTSC games.

Of course you can run PAL games in 768x576@50hz if you prefer.

If you mix PAL and NTSC games you will get screen tearing.

Thanks. That's what I'm doing now but I didn't know if there was a way to automate the process using rocket launcher, or something else.
