« on: January 12, 2016, 11:52:58 pm »
Hi im running mala frontend with mame32ui emulator and have it working great but i need a way so that after a game is played(or given idle time) it returns to the mala frontend.  i know i can hit escape but i want it to do it automaticly.  thanks for any input.

You could have an autohotkey script that kills MAME if none of the controls are touched for a set period of time.

I'm just here to tell you it's possible.
It's up to you to do the research and write the script.

I used A nice little program(auto hotkey script) that does just that inside windows, works great if pc is idle for 4 minutes it hits the escape key.  But when i open the Mala program it either over powers windows and ignores the command or it goofs with the windows idle counter. I see other emulators have this feature built in but i do Realy like the way I have everything laid out now and hate to have to rebuild just for what is likely a simple fix for someone that Has been doing this longer then me.  Thanks
