I had to put Sunglasses on before looking at the picture.

But seriously very cool. How do you power it on? Does the coin mech work? Do you have to use a xbox controler to get to the game? Give some details, and show some WIP pics homie.
Finished: 2 bartops and a cocktail
Not-Finished: 1bartop, 2cocktails, and 2 stand ups.

I have a rocker switch in the back and a pushbutton on top to turn on the lcd tv and xbox one. The rocker switch turns on all the lights and sound system. The sound system is 100 watt 2.1 so it sounds amazing. The coin mechs do not work, they are just there for show, i am how ever going to illuminate the coin slots and buttons when I have time to wire them up.The underglow, the marquee and control panel can all be set to what ever color you want. the Control panel is a piece of 3/4" plexi glass with translite artwork on top with about 150 leds underneath to make it illuminate. I do not haft to use a xbox controller to get to the games, everything can be done with the control panel. It has all three geometry wars on it. This is the main reason I had to use a 360 because geometry wars 2 is not on any other console or pc. I have a hacked 360 controller that i have my sega analog joysticks and buttons connected to. Since the sega naomi analog joysticks did not match the Xbox 360 pots i am using a cronus pro adapter inline with the 360 controller. This adapter allows me to calibrate the joysticks so they will work correctly on the 360. I will be posting more images once I finish.

Looks like a Nintendo Mario Bros. Widebody for the frame?
If you can read this, it means Photobucket's money grab ruined my signature photos.

Well, at least you didn't hack up a Nintendo Widebody first... but it's still a shame. Those Widebody cabs are highly sought after.

I guess so...though they do make reproduction wide body cabinets and none of the original parts was in this machine when I got it, hell I even bought new coin doors for it and gave the originals to someone who needed them to restore a machine.

Right on. I was a little worried it might have been more intact. I just have a soft spot for the Mario Bros Arcade. 'specially the wide-body.  :)

It all depends on location as well, I seen them in the midwest a bunch. To restore one to its former glory you must destroy another kinda deal with allot of machines.

They made a ton of wide body cabs, don't sweat it. I have watched three come through my local craigslist in the last 6 months, always converted to another game.  You made something super unique, and everyone loves a two joystick game.

The only thing I would change is probably more LED's.  ;)

I really like this build.

I'm considering building a Binding of Isaac Cab in a Nintendo style cabinet. I will probably end up making it from scratch seeing as how I don't really have a way to transport a cab and there is very rarely a Nintendo cab on the Louisville KY craigslist. :(

I love the concept of making cabs for modern smaller/indie type games.

Yep.  Totally agree with this. Super Meat Boy would be a cool one since it's platform-y but given how quick you have to be with the controls I don't know if a joystick would be an effective means of play.  Shovel Knight or FEZ would also be cool candidates.  That aside I flippin love Geometry Wars and this build looks like a fun way to enjoy the game.  Great work dude!  Love the implementation of those analog sticks.
