Taito type x/x2 emulation problem with vertical games
« on: October 22, 2015, 09:46:52 am »
Hi guys, when I launch vertical games such as raiden, gigawing, homura they all run orizzontally (with two black areas on each side) , probably because they are modified with irotate. If I try to rotate the screen from windows , when I launch the game, the screen rotate back . I would use  a vertical cab, so I need to run these game in a vertical fullscreen (not horizonatal with black areas on sides). Can you help me?

Did they come with a script to launch them?

I'm running all these on a physically rotating monitor and haven't had any issues with rotation.
But it could be that I got early versions floating around before anyone made a user interface for them.

well, perhaps if you posted the script someone could tell you how to remove the part of it causing the rotation......

open it with windows notepad, then copy and paste it here.

The script in question would be the one you click to start the game.

just start games by using cmd:

typex_loader.exe game.exe

instead using loader
