How to access my SET-UP?
« on: October 30, 2015, 09:40:33 am »
Hi guys.

Well this forum has helped this noob get everything accomplished in a very short time.  :notworthy:

I think I am now ready to enter SETUP for the first time so I can start learning that part.

I do not have a Test Button hooked up (although I would like to learn)

JDFan says to turn dipswitch 3, post 4 to "ON"

Trouble is I can only find SW1 and SW2 - I do not seem to have a 3...

And I assume that once we locate the right SW I should turn the cab off and then adjust the switch before turning it back on?

Thanks in advance!  -Steve

THe volume control is in the software dipswitch settings not a physical dipswitch bank on the PCB - to set it you need to enter test mode (since you do not have a test mode button installed you will want to shut down the system - move switch 4 on the blue dipswitch bank on the PCB (labelled sw3) to the on position and then turn on the system. It will come up in test mode - use the joystick and player 1 button to manuever and set the volume (volume control is second to last page so you will need to go through most of the pages before you get to it) Once you adjust then shut down - reset the switch 4 to Off and turn back on and volume should be where you set it.

If that does not get enough volume then use the yellow adjustment on the PCB to adjust (do this only after trying the software setting) - location shown circled in atttached pic above and to the left of the physical dipswitch (sw3) bank where you turn switch 4 on and off !!
