HDMI Capture
« on: August 29, 2015, 11:53:57 pm »
Just as the title says. Wifey wants to capture an HDMI video stream to her laptop.

I might consider building a DVR instead but I'm feeling particularly cheap about building one with HDMI I/O. I'd rather spend the money on my daughter's wifi enabled nightlight for her room.

In any case, I've been browsing around and this looks like it can do the trick.

Hard to tell though. No instructions and typical Chinese instructions.

Anyone got any suggestions? I remember reading about a particular Chinese capture box that didn't honor the HDMI copyright flags. But I couldn't find it.
