Mortal Kombat II: What is the Most Desireable Revision?
« on: March 19, 2016, 01:20:39 am »
I have a Mortal Kombat II machine. The PCB, marquee, and overlay art have been replaced with Ehrgeiz. The 'II' symbol on the front of the cab, side art, and the side of the control panel have been painted over. Otherwise, it is in good shape.

I have decided to restore it. What is the most desirable revision of Mortal Kombat II. Want to make sure if I do this, I get it off on the right track. Thanks!
When you find great deals on Craigslist for CRT based cabs, exuberance :laugh2: can be a bad thing!

Current Status of Cabs:  2-of-11 (and counting) working as desired  :applaud: :applaud:/:banghead: :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

Revision 3.1 is the one you want.
Current collection - 28 cabs, 4 pins. (32 machines and not enough room)

Yeah, but some of the moves were changed and other stuff taken out. It's good for tournaments, hence it's name, but for popularity and consistent gameplay across the board, 3.1 is the way to go.
