Please help me fixing nubytech mc soul calibur 2 fight stick
« on: August 10, 2015, 02:15:58 pm »
so i purchased a used nubytech soul calibur 2 fightstick that works for ps2, gc and xbox. i got it home and plugged it into my ps2 to find out it doesnt work. after troubleshooting it i determine it was in the cord close to the pins so i decided to hack the wire off and try to splice it back together. i cut the wire too short so i had the brilliant idea to cut all the connectors off and splice a ps2 extension controller to it to make it ps2 only since i dont play gc or xbox and threw out the other 2 connected to the pcb, i now am stumped as the fightstick has 12 wires and the controller extension has 9. and none of the color codings are correct i dont think.
is there any way for this too work? i have tried researching nubytechs color coding but no luck. and the ps2 end for the fight stick only has 9 wires as well so what are the others for? please please please help:)
