Jennifer old workhorse
« on: August 07, 2015, 05:12:20 pm »

Working on my saw today, Changed the oil and The lamp cord (melted from years of abuse), That blue cord is a high temp one off a thrift store iron, Notice the deep throat on this thing? Perfect for big pieces, although I don't use the fluid pump anymore Its old, like from the mid 30"s or so, but still cuts like a dream......And yes this thing is in my kitchen. ::)

That is a sexy piece of hardware.  I still need to refurb the scrollsaw on my ShopSmith.  Can't wait to get it done.

I would like to see what your working with, I use mine like every day, Been wanting to tear it down and give it a nice coat of fresh paint, but the downtime would be considerable. Its really nice for jigs and things, but for template work Jennifer usually cuts it a tad oversized, and uses a router or jointer to finish. It gets hard cutting large pieces with any true accuracy.

I"ts not that I don't want to, I just don't feel comfortable with it given the nature of C/w content of a deep resto/Roms... But fun random Oh yes please, I LOVE to post things.
