Mame4all continuous mouse for tempest
« on: June 07, 2015, 10:30:47 am »
When the mouse is technically on the screen border it stops. So is it any way to let it spin "out of the screen". Because it stops spinning on tempest. I need a solution for this.

Can you Fix this in any way? ???

Thanks in beforehand!

User 2084 built a Tempest cabinet out of a Tempest control panel & an RPI.

maybe he can help?

I only have a usb trackball (cheap led ps2 one with ps2 to usb adaptor) and that works great with millipede on mame4all.

Mame4all though doesn't work with a usb joypad & usb mouse connected at the same time.
you need to use a keyboard encoder or one will be disabled.

Just adding a "Me Too" to this thread. I have an original Tempest cabinet that I'm Mame-ifying. Rigging an Arduino configured as Mouse to the original spinner... But the continuous spinner is a MUST! Bumping the mouse to the screen edge is... terrible.
