  • I want to build my own arcade controls!
Hi there.

I am using Mala for my arcade cabinet and it works fine. Trouble starts when I use an Amiga emulator, because I need different configs for certain games. At first I just reprogrammed using pre- and post commands for the amiga emulator entirely and it worked well, but only supports that one config. I then found out that Mala has an encoder option and that you can even use it per game. I was going to start out slow with trying to only do it per emulator - as an alternative to the pre and post commands.

When I do, Winipac2 crashes and it won't work again AT ALL until I unplug my ipac ultimate, start the WinIpac v2 program, reconnect the ipac ultimate and program it again (even though several error messages occur, I can thankfully get it back to operational state - pheew).

What am I doing wrong or does this feature simply not work with winipac v2?
