Ok, I broke down and ordered a new Pi

Run at all or run without pulling out your hair? To be honest, I never tried turning off all effects in Hyperspin. And I guess at that point, what is the point vs another FE

Probably at all, since it's so Flash-based. Anything less than a Core2Duo and Hyperspin = GTFO. And even at that, you need to turn stuff off.
I'd be happy with something simple and configurable.

Think I had Hyperspin on a core2duo at one point, don't remember having to turn anything off.
But I see your point. Having spent so much time configuring that, would be nice to reuse.
emulation station was decent, may just try that again on v2. It did lock up trying to download the game info for too many games. I think I tried NES but never got it all set up.

I hear they're redoing the FE in PiPlay, which is great, because it currently looks like ass.

The version of windows 10 for the RPI will be the tablet version.
I have no idea at all how different that would be from the PC version & if you can just re-compile apps for ARM and you are on your way.
