Using the Raspberry Pi I've been able to get RetroPie working with emulators for Atari 2600, NES, Genesis, NEO GEO, and MAME.

Unfortunately I cannot seem to get Capcom Play System games (CPS1, CPS2, or CPS3) to launch in RetroPie using the Final Burn Alpha emulator.  I have the roms installed in the PiFBA folder (with my NEO GEO roms) but when I select a rom it goes to a black screen and kicks me back to the game selection screen.  I've tried them zipped, unzipped, in folders, out of folders, and so far nothing.  Has anyone had any luck playing these with my similar set up?  I was going to ask at the Raspberry Pi forums but I would rather not register at another forum if it's possible to get some advice from here.  My son really enjoys the X-Men and Marvel fighting games and I'm trying to get these going for him.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Did you get it working ok?

Which version of RetroPie are you using?

fba-libretro will support CPS3, here are the dat files so you can build the right romsets (al zipped in the rom folder is fine):

What error do you get?
Have you verified your romset?

You can verify your romset by following this link:
https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/Managing-ROMs

You need to use the fba-libretro option

Can you confirm you have validated the roms using the link above?
